Glacier National Park! As a new resident of Montana, I haven't gotten the chance to visit but plan to go several times next summer.

Tell us about a research project you enjoyed in the past...

I had the opportunity to work on an applied action research project with a local child education and development network. One of my favorites!

Ok...if you had a magic wand, what dream project would you undertake?

An applied research project working with a local community to foster community inclusion in pre-disaster recovery planning and to build future disaster resiliency.

Applied research is hard. Why do you care about it?

As a former practitioner, I want to do research that would have helped me in my job. Now as a researcher, I strive to understand the experiences and perspectives of those in the job. Applied research is the perfect fit for my pracademic approach, and I love bringing students on board!
